Green Light is an independent employee owned Group providing GP Practice Pharmacist, Community Pharmacy, Education & Training and Consultancy services. GP Connect recruits, employs, trains and supports pharmacists working in General Practice to deliver high quality patient services. We currently deliver Practice Pharmacist services to a number of General Practices and GP Federations across Greater London. We also provide Education and Training Practice Pharmacy initiatives to organisations including the Prime Ministers Challenge Fund Hubs, Community Education Provider Networks, Local Education and Training Boards and Higher Education Institutes in London.
West Hampstead, Swiss Cottage and Abbey Medical Centres are 3 high performing large teaching practices in Camden with a diverse population of around 40,000 people which includes GP trainees, nurse trainees, physicians associates and medical students. The practices are part of a GP federation and are keen to engage practice-based pharmacists to add to their skill mix, to work with local community pharmacists and to forge closer links with secondary care pharmacists.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in an innovative NHS England development programme to integrate the clinical skills of a pharmacist into the general practice team. We have one part time (0.4 FTE)Senior Clinical Pharmacist role to fill and we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated experienced pharmacist committed to developing his/her knowledge and skills to improve patient care.
Senior Clinical Pharmacist; Salary - £40,428 pro rata (0.4 FTE) depending on experience (plus opportunity for bonus/profit scheme and partnership opportunity with dividends)
Minimum of 5 years post registration experience
Experience of working in a clinical setting in a multidisciplinary team
Experience of leading change
Some previous experience of practice pharmacy/primary care is desirable
Independent Prescribing qualification is very desirable
