MPLG Sessions - Increasing Effectiveness Quality Improvement

Course Introduction
A core aim of UCLPartners is to help our partners develop the capability and skills required in order for them to deliver high value healthcare. This training programme was developed in response to this aim, and is specifically focused on building quality improvement (QI) capability and capacity, in order to increase effectiveness. The course will cover all the basics necessary to understand and participate in QI initiatives.

Three Things You Will Leave With
At the end of the session, you will be able to describe the Model for Improvement and Plan, Do, Study, Act cycles. Also to construct a Driver Diagram; understand the specifics of measuring for Improvement; know how to read and use a Statistical Process Control chart; understand how to plan and carry out a test of change.

This session is aimed at anyone interested in quality improvement, and is open to GP’S, Nurses, Health Visitors, Pharmacists, Social Workers, Mental Health Professionals, Allied Health Professionals.
